Michael “Dino” Tomlin, son of Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, revealed where he’ll be playing his college football.Tomlin, a three-star wide receiver recruit from Shady Side Academy, announced his commitment to Maryland. He’s also the No. 35 recruit from the state of Pennsylvania.In addition to his talent on the football field, Tomlin is a track star as well. The talented wide receiver won the state title in the 300-meter hurdles and finished second in the 100-meter dash in 2018.

The Oklahoma quarterback’s dad was impressed with what he was seeing.“We’re just happy for him and he’s waited a long time for this,” Averion Hurts said, per 247Sports. “He’s back where he was meant to be and you could say he’s blessed. I’m happy for him and the team most importantly. Playing Houston, being from Houston, that’s a little extra too.”The Hurts family is from Texas, making the Week 1 win over Houston extra special.Hurts’ father added that he liked what he was seeing from Lincoln Riley’s offense. Hurts is following two Heisman Trophy winners in Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield at the position. Perhaps he’ll be next.“Coach Riley said it, they kind of unleashed him,” Averion Hurts said. “(Rushing) is a good thing, but for me, his passing has been really well. He missed 1 or 2, but it’s been a great game and a great game plan.”Hurts finished the game with 332 passing yards and three touchdowns. He added 176 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.Oklahoma returns to the field in Week 2 against South Dakota this Saturday.
